Dong Hoo Kim joined the faculty in 2014. He teaches advertising in the school. His research interests are largely focused on ways to increase the efficacy of marketing communications. More specifically, he is interested in brand communication, consumer psychology and new media.  

Prior to academia, Kim worked for advertising agencies as an account executive for about six years in Korea. During the time, he engaged in many nation-wide advertising campaigns and won several advertising awards. 

He has published research articles in Psychology & Marketing and the Journal of Advertising and Promotion Research.
