Numbers don't lie. That's a statement I hear all to often. We are all too quick to assume that numbers are truthful and accurate because of their nature of being, um, numbers. There is something clinical, clean and believable about numbers. Problem is that sometimes numbers are representative of reality and sometimes they are manipulated. And it's not always easy to tell which is which.

Posters on the subject of human trafficking designed by UNC School of Media and Journalism 2018 seniors Justin Wynn, Mary Catherine Young and Janie Price were awarded Grand Prize, First Prize and Honorable Mention, respectively, in a nationwide competition hosted by ArtWorks for Freedom — a sweeping win encompassing every category available to students.
