5:30pm to 6:30pm

Freedom Forum Conference Center

About the event

New Student Orientation will be held in the Freedom Forum Conference Center on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All newly admitted MJ-schoolers should attend to learn about curriculum changes, get advice from a student panel and meet faculty and staff. Plus, free pizza will be served!

Prior to orientation, there are two key steps to jumpstart your MJ-school experience:

  • RSVP by Monday, Oct. 29, for New Student Orientation, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Freedom Forum Conference Center, 305 Carroll Hall
  • Indicate your specialization or area of study preference by Monday, Oct. 29, to ensure full access when registration begins. If you don't remember what you indicated, you can also "confirm" your choice via the RSVP form on this page. As an MJ-school major, you’ll be able to register for classes based on the major/specialization/area of study indicated in your ConnectCarolina record.

Invitations to this event will be sent to eligible UNC students via email
